Computing Facilities

Tulane Computing Service (TCS) is centrally located in the Richardson building of the uptown campus. It provides students and faculty with powerful problem-solving tools that enhance the learning experience and increase the extent to which subjects may be explored. TCS serves as the general purpose computing facility for teaching, research studies, and administrative data processing for the university community. Students and faculty have access to an extensive and growing library of programs in mathematics, statistics, engineering, cartography, social sciences and business, as well as all major programming languages. An academic tape library is available for the permanent storage of data sets. It also contains tapes from the Inter-University Consortium for Political and Social Research.
