Financial Support

For most students, the P/S program entails a commitment of seven years.  All students are expected to finish within eight years.  During this time, full tuition will be provided by the School of Medicine and the Graduate School.  Once students begin work in the laboratory with a research advisor, a stipend will be provided by the advisor.  The amount of the stipend will be commensurate with that of other students in the graduate program and will be provided for the duration of the laboratory project.  The program will pay a stipend during students' initial laboratory rotations. P/SP students are responsible for housing, cost of living expenses, student fees, and health insurance.
