Good websites to visit

SAEM (Society for Academic Emergency Medicine): The medical student section here has tons of valuable stuff!

AAEM (American Academy of Emergency Medicine): This is packed with resources, and included online access to The Rape of Emergency Medicine, Rules of the Road for Medical Students, and their Toxicology Handbook. First year of membership is free to students!

ACEP (American College of Emergency Physicians): A student membership to ACEP, which costs about $75-$100 per year, includes a membership to EMRA and access to both ACEP and EMRA's "members only" online features--both very good resources. ACEP also has state-specific chapters, which offer varying amounts of information about the specialty in that state.

EMRA (Emergency Medicine Residents' Association)

ABEM (American Board of Emergency Medicine)

CORD (Council of Residency Directors)
