Music In Medicine
Music in Medicine promotes musical performances and appreciation by hosting
monthly concerts for the Tulane medical community. Medical students, faculty,
staff, and occasional guests are invited to perform at the lunchtime concerts,
hosted in a casual, open-mic style. All abilities and musical genres are welcome, and this year we have enjoyed the Chinese bamboo flute, Appalachian
bluegrass, Rock-n-roll, classical piano, and a jazz combo, among others. Music
in Medicine has also sponsored the biannual event, A Night at the Symphony,
providing tickets to the Louisianna Philharmonic Orchestra to over fifty
students.
