Jewish Medical Student Organization
JMSO (Jewish Medical Student Organization) is an MSG affiliated club that not only provides an outlet for Jewish medical students, but also is a voice on campus with the goal of increasing Jewish awareness in the Tulane medical community. We are an organization that plans activities of an educational, social and political nature. We have sponsored events including holiday dinners, and have held lectures on the medical as well as uptown campuses. JMSO is affiliated with both Hillel and Chabad of New Orleans (Both of which are located on the uptown campus). This past year we had two great Shabbat potluck dinners, and lectures on Jewish medical ethics and the history of Israel. We are open-minded and continually looking for new members and new ideas. The club is open to everyone in the Tulane medical community.
