Family Medicine Interest Group (FMIG)
Family Medicine Interest Group is a student-led organization which seeks to raise awareness about Family Medicine as a unique specialty within the medical profession. The students involved with FMIG examine issues relevant to Family Medicine as a specialty, including professional development and career opportunities, patient education and advocacy, and preventive health. This year, one of the activities we look forward to participating in is Tar Wars, a successful anti-smoking curriculum in local schools.
