American Medical Association – Medical Student Section
This is Tulane's chapter of the American Medical Association, a nationwide advocacy group for physicians. Tulane's chapter holds a residency fair every fall, as well as several meetings to discuss political issues that affect medicine (i.e. medical liability reform, access to health care, resident working conditions, etc.) This year we will be involved with Unite for Sight, a program that conducts vision screenings and works to reduce preventable blindness.
