Tuberculosis Screening

In 2005, BHT began providing tuberculosis screening to all Bridge House clients. Medical students learn how to administer and interpret TB skin tests. In addition, students educate clients about tuberculosis and make use of verbal contracts as a method to increase patient compliance. This program aims to detect latent infection and enable clients to get the treatment they need to stay healthy.
