The National Institute of Mental Health has funded Tulane to conduct a longitudinal study of the impact of trauma on young children. Posttraumatic stress disorder is a possibility from a dog bite, automobile accident, domestic violence, or other trauma in young children. This research comprehensively evaluates children and will help determine the need for treatment.
Young children and their parents are needed for this research study to understand the impact of trauma and posttraumatic stress disorder in preschool children:
