A Fine Needle Aspiration Biopsy Clinic

under the direction of Nina Dhurandhar, M.D. is located on the fifth (5th) floor in the Surgery Clinic. It is staffed by Drs. Dhurandhar and Moroz. They are both full-time faculty members at Tulane University School of Medicine and are certified by the American Board of Pathology in Pathology and Cytopathology. Collectively, Dr. Dhurandhar and Dr. Moroz have more than 25 years experience in the field of Cytopathology.

Dr. Dhurandhar is Head of Cytopathology and Director,
Cytopathology Fellowship Program. Dr. Dhurandhar has had extensive training in fine needle aspiration (FNA) biopsy techniques in Sweden at Karolinska and Sahlgrenska Hospitals. Dr. Krzysztof Moroz received his extensive training at the Mallory Institute of Pathology, Boston University Medical Center in Boston. He has special interests in fine needle aspirations and image analysis for DNA and prognostic tumor markers.
