Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA) Clinic

The Fine Needle Aspiration Clinic under the direction of Nina Dhurandhar, M.D. is located on the fifth (5^th) floor in the Surgery Clinic. It is staffed by Drs. Dhurandhar and Moroz. They are both full-time faculty members at Tulane University School of Medicine and are certified by the American Board of Pathology in Pathology and Cytopathology. Collectively, Dr. Dhurandhar and Dr. Moroz have more than 25 years experience in the field of Cytopathology.

Dr. Dhurandhar is Head of Cytopathology and Director, Cytopathology Fellowship Program. Dr. Dhurandhar has had extensive training in fine needle aspiration (FNA) biopsy techniques in Sweden at Karolinska and

Dr. Krzysztof Moroz received his extensive training at the Mallory Institute of Pathology, Boston University Medical Center in Boston. He is board certified in anatomic/clinical pathology and cytopathology with special interests in fine needle aspirations and image analysis for DNA and prognostic tumor markers.
