
The objectives of the Tulane Housestaff Association are to promote improvements of Housestaff employment conditions, to promote resident well-being, to minimize impediments of the Housestaff in their medical training, to be an advocate for patient care, to encourage active membership and participation in constituent societies of organized medicine, to promote education of residents on issues affecting them, to increase resident and resident’s significant other’s well-being through social and charitable activities, to represent the interest of its members in deliberations with affiliated hospitals on issues regarding working conditions and benefits, and to create an independent organization for these purposes.
The Tulane Housestaff Association meets every third Wednesday of the month at 4 pm in room 1521 of the Medical School .
