REQUIREMENTS FOR THIRD AND FOURTH YEAR CLINICAL CURRICULUM
(JULY 1, 2005 – APRIL 20, 2006)

1. Required rotations include (15 months):

2. Interdisciplinary Seminar Series--- 5 seminars required (one each block)

3. Electives 5 months
4. Electives - MD/MPH Students 4 months+MD/MPH month (see below)
5. Vacation (2 months)
NOTE:
- Students must finish ALL required rotations by the end of February in year of graduation.
- Scheduling priority is given to student(s) with earliest matriculation date
- Scheduling will be done in 4 month blocks
- Away rotations MUST be approved by corresponding department at Tulane
- Required sub-I MUST be completed at a Tulane affiliated hospital
- MD/MPH students and Tropical Medicine students have special requirements that decrease elective time. Speak with SPHTM advisors for up to date information.
- Students can take electives in May of graduation year (“Special Block”) with special permission from the Associate Dean for Admissions and Student Affairs
