OLIGODENDROGLIOMA

A 38 year old female presents with a 4 year history of increasing headaches. In the last month she developed seizures but there is no response to anticonvulsivant therapy. MRI is done. It shows a well-defined area of abnormal T2 signal involving the left frontal and temporal lobe. There is mass effect, surrounding edema and irregular calcification.A biopsy is done.
