Sagittal post contrast MRI reveals a ring enhancing mass adjacent to abnormally thickened and enhancing meninges. These findings are compatible with a diagnosis of cerebral abscess and meningeal inflammation/infection. Diagnosis: cerebral abscess.

The axial MRI with contrast shows a septated subdural empyema seen as a peripherally-enhancing extra cerebral fluid collection. Diagnosis: Subdural abscess.
