Coronal sections through two different brains.The one on top is a normal brain to compare it with sections at different levels of a diseased brain lying below. These show bilateral, symmetrical dilatation of the lateral ventricles. In contrast to the normal convex configuration of the caudate nuclei above, the caudate nuclei below appears concave and flattened. Diagnosis: Huntington’s disease
