Coronal section of the cerebral hemispheres with attached dura at the level of the splenium of the corpus callosum; the section also includes the brainstem and the left cerebellar hemisphere. There is semi-lunar left subdural hematoma with flattening of the subjacent left convexity. Note: there is no swelling or midline shift. Diagnosis: Chronic right subdural hematoma.
