Notes: This outline supplements Dr. Harrison's lecture; it is not meant to be a complete tutorial on the topic. The lecture and this supplement are intended to acquaint you with the types of laboratory testing used in the diagnosis and monitoring of liver diseases. Although a number of disorders are introduced in this context, the tutorial's main purpose is the presentation of testing strategies rather than a complete discussion of the diseases.
