carcinoma in the lymph nodes

This is a close-up of the tracheal bifurcation or carina. There is hard, grey carcinoma in the lymph nodes which you can identify by the black carbon pigment in them. The origin of this is the squamous cell carcinoma of the right mainstem bronchus seen above.
