S5C15P9-DLE-misc

S5C15P9-1: DLE, dermal mucinosis, colloidal iron.

S5C15P9-2: DLE; basement membrane and vascular hyalinosis, and mucinosis of the reticular dermis.

S5C15P9-3: DLE showing cytolytic changes affecting a follicle as a prelude to follicular atrophy. Green arrows outline lytic defects and basal apoptotic changes. Blue arrows identify migratory histiocytes.

S5C15P9-4: This senescent lichenoid reaction of a lesion of DLE is associated with a band-like area of fibrosis in the upper portion of the dermis. Lesions of this type might be mistaken for lichen sclerosis et atrophicus. The quality of the fibrous tissue is not characteristic of LSA.

S5C15P9-5: Superficial sclerodermoid changes in a lesion of sclerosing DLE. The changes in the dermis overlap with those of superficial morphea.

S5C15P9-6: Sclerodermoid changes in a lesion of DLE showing senescent lichenoid patterns.
