S1C29P19-1: In this area, the granulomatous collagenosis of granuloma annulare is represented. There is lysis of collagen bundles (green arrows), and the histiocytes in the area of lysis show prominent cell processes. A blue arrow identifies a “sequestered” collagen bundle. Histiocytes are arranged in palisades about this isolated bundle (granulomatous ring-binding).
