S15C4P3-Sarcomatoid Melanoma 3
BuiltWithNOF

S15C4P3-1: This is another satellite lesion in the dermis away from the main primary tumor.

S15C4P3-2: At higher magnification, the satellite lesion is sarcommatoid.

S15C4P3-3: Nesting patterns are prominent in this nodal metastasis; the nesting patterns, in part, may be represenative of sinusoidal permeations. Cytologic features are those of high-grade neoplasia. In this metastasis, the patterns more closely resemble those of the usual melanoma.

S15C4P3-4: The giant cells, that are interspersed among tumor cells in the primary lesion, are of “osteoclastic” type. Melanomas, showing a component of giant cells, in this pattern in a primary lesion, may also manifest the giant cells in metastatic lesions.
