S15C2P7-Granulomatoid HistiocytosisX
BuiltWithNOF

S15C2P7-1: In this field, there is an infiltrate of pale histiocytes in a widened portal space of the liver. To the left, the infiltrate has eroded the limiting plate. The infiltrate is organized in ill-defined granulomatous patterns (arrows). This pattern, in the setting of histiocytosis X, has been characterized as granulomatoid.

S15C2P7-2: The granulomatoid pattern is represented. Some of the nuclei are deeply notched in the manner of the nuclei of the infiltrates of histiocytosis X.

S15C2P7-3: To the lower left, the infiltrates have disrupted the liver plates. The patterns are granulomatoid.

S15C2P7-4: The lumen and the partially preserved epithelium of a bile ductule is represented (blue arrows). The granulomatoid infiltrate has partially destroyed the bile ductule. A few neutrophils are sprinkled in the infiltrates.

S15c2P7-5: The patterns are granulomatoid.

S15C2P7-6: In this field, the infiltrates are intra-lobular; focally, liver plates are disrupted..

S15C2P7-7: The patterns are granulomatoid. Some of the nuclei are deeply grooved.
