PHOTOMICROGRAPHS

Conventions are the same as for all the preceding chapters: S=section, C=chapter, and P=pictorial. In the MASTERBORDER to the left, an item, that is identified by an “S-” and a “C-,” is the label for a textual page. An item that is identified with an “S-,” a “C-,” and a “P-” or “VA-” is the label for a pictorial or a visual aid. A textual item, that also is marked with an “-X,” is a parent textual page having relevance for a group of pictorials at tier 3.

In searching for pictorials of specific disorders, select and click on an underlined item below; the click will take the reader to the corresponding illustration. A SECTION MAP follows this IMAGE MAP in a sequence. The SECTION MAP provides a brief description of basic reaction patterns; for an aid in navigating among the sections, the reader should search out the mauve cluster of bars at the end of each page.
