S12CIM-IMAGE MAP
PHOTOMICROGRAPHS
The conventions are the same as for all the preceding Sections: S = Section, C = Chapter, and P = Pictorial. If a label, in the MASTERBORDER to the left, or at the end of a page, is identified with only an “S-” and a
“C-” (no “P-” or “VA-”), the item is textual (i.e., a level 2 item) rather than pictorial (i.e., a level 3 item). In the clusters of navigation bars in the MASTERBORDER to the left and at the end of each page,
“S-C-” items, that are additionally identified with an “X-”, in the clusters of the MASTERBORDER to the left and at the end of each page are textual chapters having relevance for one or more pictorials at tier 3. A
SECTION MAP follows the list of images. It is descriptive of the general topics for each SECTION. It does not provide access to the respective SECTIONS. The mauve
cluster at the end of each page will provide access to individual SECTIONS. Underlined, highlighted items in the following list are navigation aids; a click on a selected underlined item will take the reader to the corresponding group of photomicrographs, or visual aids (a table, a diagram, or a drawing:
