Granulopoiesis is the development of the granulocytic white blood cells, neutrophils, eosinophils, and basophils. Starting at the myelocyte stage, a particular path of devilment can be determined as specific granules become visible. Examples and illustrations of neutrophilic granulopoiesis are given below.
