You are invited to attend a special program of the American Association for
Cancer Research (AACR) to gain new insight into the pivotal
discoveries in cancer research that you hear about on the news. Cancer will strike one of every
three Americans alive today. Scientists are learning a lot about this frightening and costly disease,
and these revolutionary new findings could help you or someone you love.
This program is for everyone:
Learn first what cancer is, and how clinical and laboratory research cures and prevents cancer.
Find out what's on the horizon for new strategies to diagnose and treat cancer.
Discover what we really know about breast cancer, prostate cancer, lung cancer, and colon cancer.
Ask questions about progress in research on all types of cancer.
This event is free of charge and will include handouts about cancer.

for Cancer Research, the most prestigious organization in the world dedicated tothe cure and
